Sainik School E-Counselling 2023: All India Sainik Schools Admission Counselling (AISSAC)

Sainik School E-Counselling (admission counselling) is an online counselling service through which candidates will be able to register and fill out their preferred school choices. It is a free service offered by the Sainik Schools Society and is available to all students who got qualified for admission to the Sainik Schools. In this blog, we’ve briefly discussed what is Sainik School e-Counselling 2023, how to register, and how it works.

What is Sainik School e-counselling?

Admissions to Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools will be handled solely through e-Counselling.

During the academic year 2023–2024, 33 currently operating Sainik Schools and 18 new Sainik Schools will accept AISSEE 2023, qualified applicants.

The SSS, MoD has established All India Sainik Schools Admission Counselling (AISSAC) 2023 to monitor and supervise seat distribution for these applicants.

The Sainik School e-counselling portal is not available as of yet. Candidates will be able to register and fill out their choices starting on or after March 6, 2023. 

The e-counselling website currently possesses a “School Information” list of all 33 existing Sainik Schools and the newly approved 18 Sainik Schools, called NSS (New Sainik Schools).

IMPORTANT: Students should check the vacant seats of their preferred schools. The vacant seats have been updated by every Sainik School and New Sainik School.

How to Register for Sainik School e-counselling?

Candidates should use the following credentials to log in to https://mes.ncog.gov.in/sainikschoolecounselling in order to register and fill out their school preferences:

1. 1. On the portal, the AISSEE 2023 Application Number will be entered. Thus, it is advised that AISSEE 2023 qualifying candidates have all reference materials on hand before beginning the AISSAC 2023 registration process.
   2. When registering for AISSEE 2023 via the NTA portal, a mobile number and email address were required.
   3. Applicants will also need to set their password after entering the OTP from the registered number and mail.
   4. Following that, candidates must log in using their application number as their User ID and the password they created.
   5. The candidate’s information will be automatically collected from the AISSEE 2023 registration database after a successful login. Applicants will be asked to confirm the information once more.
   6. The candidate’s registration will only be deemed successful if the details have been confirmed.
   7. Applicants will not be given consideration for seat allocation in any of the schools if they do not register on the AISSAC 2023 site.

How does Sainik School e-counselling work?

Sainik School e-counselling is a user-friendly platform established by SSS to monitor and supervise seat distribution for these applicants. Students who wish to avail of this service can visit the official website of the Sainik Schools Society and register themselves when the e-counselling commences.

At subsequent stages of the admission process, the eligibility criteria, self-declaration, and other documents required to be submitted by eligible candidates invited for counselling will be verified in accordance with the prescribed norms.

To proceed to the next stage of the process for admission to Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools through e-Counselling, candidates must register with the help of the steps mentioned above at https://mes.ncog.gov.in/sainikschoolecounselling.

Once registered, they can access the various resources and services provided by the e-counselling program. Candidates who qualified for the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Exam (AISSEE-2023) will have to register for Sainik School e-counselling. Candidates will be able to choose up to ten schools to be assigned to. 

Following that, automated allocation of students for the schools will be carried out based on the rank and priority of the students for the schools, after which the provisionally shortlisted candidate will be required to accept the allotment and proceed with the admission formalities or indicate the option to be considered for Round II of Counselling or unwillingness for further consideration. 

Further, the dates for physical verification at the School level will be communicated to candidates who have accepted/locked their choices by the Sainik Schools. 

Seats that remain unfilled after the completion date of Round I will be filled through Round II of Sainik School e-counselling, the dates of which will be announced on the Portal.
