The College recommends applicants submit their applications only if they are enthusiastic about the challenge of joining India’s Defence Forces.
There are no admissions beyond Class VIII. When joining, the candidate must be enrolled in Class VII or have completed Class VII from an approved school. The relevant State Governments must receive application forms.
Every six months, about 25 cadets are admitted. Applicants must be at most 11 and a half years old or older than 13 on January 1 or July 1 of the term they join.
