Sainik School is considered to be one of the prestigious schools in India, many students wait for the application forms to be released so that they can apply for the admission. For the upcoming session 2021 – 2022, the notification has released and the students who are awaiting the same can apply for the Sainik School Kalekiri. The entrance examination notification has released for the class VI and IX and students could then take admission in the same standards.
Eligible and interested students can apply for the admission in Sainik School Kalikiri (Andhra Pradesh). The process is very streamlined and strict. And all the admissions are made basis the merit list, strictly, after the entire selection process is carried out.
Selection Procedure: The selection process consists of written entrance examination (AISSEE 2021), interview of the qualified candidates, and physical/ medical fitness test. Candidates are advised not to fall in trap of any other institutions promising the admission, as there are no such institutions/coaching centers deputed by the Sainik School.
The focus of the Sainik School is to develop a student wholly, i.e., a candidates gets the facilities and the right guidance to grow academically, fitness wise/ physically, and mentally. Sainik Schools primarily focus on boy candidates to get into National Defence Academy (NDA). The aim of the school is to make future officers out of these children and give them a complete better transformation.
Sainik Schools are residential schools/ boarding schools and these schools are members of All India Public Conference (AIPC). These schools are affiliated to CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). And the common curriculum is followed in accordance to the Central Board of Secondary Education; however, the school also prepares candidates/ students for National Defence Academy (NDA) of Union Public Service Examinations (UPSC).

- For Class VI there would be 60 seats available in Korukonda Sainik School and 70 seats in Kalikiri Sainik School.
- For Class IX there would be 25 seats available in Korukonda Sainik School and 4 seats in Kalikiri Sainik School.
Reservation in Admission Sainik School Kalikiri 2021
Category wise reservation is provided by the school, i.e., 15% for the Scheduled Caste (SC), 7.5% for Scheduled Tribe (ST), 25% for the dependents of Defence Service Personnel or Ex- Service Men.
Sainik School Kalikiri Scholarship Scheme 2021
School also provides scholarships to the candidates/ students studying in the school based upon economic status of the family of the student. The Govt of Andhra Pradesh offer the scholarships to the candidates from their states subject to certain conditions as required by them. In addition Government of India Ministry of Defence also provides some share at varying rates to those cadets receiving State Government scholarships.
- The Andhra Pradesh State Government grants the Merit Scholarships for 50% of boys admitted every year on the basis of order of merit prepared on the basis of Entrance Examination, irrespective of the income of Parent / Guardian. This Scheme is available only for Andhra Pradesh Domicile boys students.
- The Government of Andhra Pradesh Authority provide the Scholarships to the Andhra Pradesh Domicile boys on the basis of father monthly basic pay only (mother, in case of father is not alive or guardian, incase of both father and mother are not alive).
The scholarship scheme of the A.P.Government is as given below :-
- Scholarship of Rs.34,000/- (of which Rs.2,000/- from Ministry of Defence) plus clothing allowance is given to the merit scholarship holders irrespective of parents income. Merit scholarship will be continued for the subsequent years subject to securing a minimum of 70% marks in aggregate in Annual Examinations. The balance amount of Fees and other charges is to be paid by the parents of General, Defence categories and SC & ST categories.
- The school is adjudged as the best available School by the Social Welfare / Tribal Welfare Department. Scholarships are awarded by the Social Welfare / Tribal Welfare Department to the SC / ST Boys whose Parent’s income is less than Rs. 65,000/- / Rs. 2,00,000/- per annum respectively under the Bright Boys Scheme – Pre-Matric Scholarships. To continue availing Scholarship awarded by Social Welfare / Tribal Welfare Departments during the subsequent years boys should obtain a minimum 60% Marks in aggregate in the Annual Examinations.

Sainik School Kalikiri Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Admission at SS Kalikiri 2021
- For Class VI: 10 years – 12 years as on 31 March 2021. Applicant date of birth should be lies between 1 April 2009 to 31 March 2011.
- For class IX: 13 years – 15 years as on 31 March 2021. Required Date of Birth : 01 April 2006 to 31 March 2008.
- As on 31 March, 2021.
- Aspirant should be qualify the previous class examination. Appearing students can also apply. But they have to qualify the examination before to start the next year season.
Application Fees
Through Online Mode candidates who belongs to General/Defence Category, they have to pay Rs.550/- and for SC/ST Category Rs.400/- only. Pay through Online mode before the closing date.
